It’s that time again!! And I can’t be the kind of friend who keeps a good thing to myself.
My motto is….
The Just Between Friends Sale is a sale I just love. I mean where else can you find a sea of toys, clothing, baby items, books, movies, puzzles… all in the same place.
The Just Between Friends sale is not just a place where you go and get great deals. It is days of excitement, where you have loads of fun filling up your bags and not knowing what kind of amazing surprises you are going to find.
I can still remember my first time, I was amazed when I walked into the huge room with door to doors deals. Lines and lines of strollers, play pens, cribs, walkers, and everything else imaginable meet you at the door.
At the end of the day, I walked away with a new pair of sneakers, a baby bag perfect for any mom, a Vera Braley lunch bag, and a chalk board that I still use today. I had a ball!
After going to my first JBF sale, I decided that I would never miss another one. The last time I went I grabbed the deal of the century. For $40, I walked away with a Coach diaper bag and a Vera Bradley bag, both were great addition to my collection.
The first time I went to the sale, I can still remember how the women lined up to be the first to get in and capture some of the best deals of the day.
What is the JBFSale?
The Just Between Friends event is a HUGE consignment sale. It is a great way to get rid of items you don’t need, make some extra cash or pick up the items you need at a great price. In a nutshell, it is a great place to meet friends, find awesome deals, and save tons of money. KA-CHING.
For a few days the Convention Center in Oaks, PA turns into a huge shopping center. You don’t need a ticket for the regular sale, BUT I would REALLY recommend you spend the extra couple of dollars and buy tickets for the pre-sale. Why? You can beat the crowd and you get the best selection. You can get tickets here.
Here is all the tickets information you need. Please share this with your friends, family and neighbors, especially since teachers, first time parents and grandparents can get in the pre-sale for FREE.
The pre-sale is the place to be if you are a smart shopper who wants to save the most money, especially if you are looking for something special. Every time I go to that sale those ladies with their list have their goodies picked out and put to the side before I’ve made my way to the first aisle.
What to expect..
#JBFPhilly has TONS of great deals, go there expecting to find them! They have tons of sports equipment, books, instructional material, clothing for both kids and mom, strollers, car seats, play pens, diaper bags, carriers, I mean really everything. So, if there are things you need MAKE A LIST and check out those areas FIRST.
Some of the items are new and others are gently use, so when I say you never know what you are going to find I really mean it. The last couple of times I have gone I’ve seen brand new big ticket items priced so low they seemed like they were giving them away. My friend got a Kate Spade bag that normally retails for $345 and she only paid $40 bucks.
The public sale is September 22 -25 and the pre-sale for consignors and team members (people who volunteer to help at the sale) is on September 21. There are special pre-sales that require tickets: first-time parents, Prime Time (they purchase a pass for $10), and teachers.
On Thursday, the opening day of the sale, admission is $3, but shoppers can grab a free pass. We used to share a graphic of a free pass, and we’ve changed that and are using Eventbrite as a way to still give the free pass but collect email addresses while we’re doing it.
Tickets for the entire sale can be ‘ordered’ here. This is the link you want to include in your posts:
Part of the fun of the sale, is not really know what you’re going to find. For instance, last year I got a Coach bag that I found last time was totally unexpected and I still love it as much as I did the day I bought it.
The #JBFPhilly sale has a great reputation, I know everytime I’ve gone I left with a smile on my face and money in my wallet. This is a sale where you REALLY can find what YOU are looking for.
It’s also fun! Standing in line with my friends and sharing our finds always brings a smile to my face. Seeing the cuteness they found is almost as fun as finding great deals for myself. Go to the sale and bring a friend.
