#Movie #Review: #MaxMovie — Should you go see it?

3:19 pm by Aida Leave a Comment

The upcoming film Max is the heartwarming representation of the story of Max.

Max, is a Marine dog whose handler Kyle died in combat and the dog’s own personal effect on his handlers family’s lives.  The movie trailer pulls you in, but is this another one of those movies whose best scenes in the trailers?  We are spilling the beans here!

The story in a nutshell…

Justin Wincott (Josh Wiggins), the younger brother of Marine Kyle Wincott (Robbie Amell), embarks on a journey after his brother dies in battle. When Ray and Pamela Wincott (Thomas Haden Church and Lauren Graham)–their parents–get word that Kyle’s right hand dog will have to be put down due to the fact that he cannot work with any other Marine, they make the decision to adopt Max after seeing that the dog responded positively to Justin. The responsibility then falls on Justin to take care of Max, but he gets some help from his friends Chuy and Carmen (Dejon LaQuake and Mia Xitlali) in order to help learn how to bond with Max. However, when an old friend of Kyle’s comes back, a whole new stream of Justin and Max’s own adventures begin.

Max is an incredibly moving story with an amazing plot and storyline.

Though slightly predictable (as most heartwarming movies are), it makes for it by not torturing your feels. This is a great movie that depicts how military dogs are just as good soldiers as humans, even suffering from PTSD like human soldiers.

I give this movie 4.5 stars. It is a wonderful film to see with the family, and it is definetely a movie to go see.
