If you like to catch a movie every now and then, this is a money saving tip you want to know. I found three great ways to save time, money and energy on movie rentals and of course, I am going to share them with you.
Have You Ever Done This?
You run out to that big red box, pick up a movie and bring it home. You have every intention of watching it that night and then this happens….
- As soon as you walk in the door, you get a phone call and your whole evening plan changes
- You forgot that great show/movie/whatever you want to see starts tonight and you know if you don’t watch it LIVE, your Facebook friends will giveaway the whole story line, before you can press play on your DVR.
- You get home and you are so exhausted that you couldn’t make it through a whole movie if you wanted to.
- You come home and your family has plans for you, which don’t include you watching that movie you just rented.
Your one day rental, has been in your house for three+ days.
You don’t want to take it back until you actually SEE the movie, but you also don’t want to rack up a bunch of late fees. The STRUGGLE my friends is real.
Here’s A Better Option …
Every weekend and on every Monday and Friday, #VerizonFios has specials on their movies. The movies only cost $2.97 a piece and you don’t have to leave your home to rent them. YES!!
Now This Was A Big Shocker
When I first saw “movie deals” I was skeptical, I thought the movies they put on sale would be OLD out of date movies, with maybe one or two new ones thrown in every now and then, but they aren’t.
Over the past few weeks, I have watched the sales just to make sure. To my surprise, the movie deals have included movies I actually want to see. Take a look for yourself!
And just like that here are the #mondaymovienight Sale picks @verizonfiostv. Great way to unwind. #FiosPhilly #team #ageofadelinemovie Did you see any if these? #movies #toppick
These are just a few of them..Age of Adaline, Unfriended, Hot Pursuit, Home, Mad Max,
On nights like this one I am thankful I can sit at home and catch a good flick. I am loving these sales #FiosPhilly @verizonfiostv less than three bucks #bargain A photo posted by Aida J Ingram (@aidajingram) on
If you follow me on Instagram, I share them when I find them.
These are ALL movies that JUST came out on DVD.
Little Boy, a must see movie has been part of the movie deal at least twice and it just came out on DVD a few weeks ago.
Wait There Is Still More
If the one day deals, don’t work for you, there are still other options. #Fios has movies on sale everyday, I know right now Unbroken, One Direction: This is Us, and Escape Plan are on sale.
Bottom Line
I have been pleasantly surprised by the movie deal options. There is a variety of movies to choose from no matter what kind of movies you like.
There are also tons of benefits to renting from Fios. You pay for the rentals when you get your bill, you don’t have to leave home to rent or return movies, and you can watch the movie on your TV, tablet, or your gaming console whenever you want. It’s at least worth checking into. If you like movies, you owe it to yourself to take a closer look at what Fios offers.
Disclosure: As a Verizon Fios Ambassador, I receive compensation for the work I complete for the company, but all opinions and ideas are my own.
