Have You Ever Been Late for an Appointment and thought, “I wish I left sooner”? Do you constantly spend time wondering what day that appointment was, or what you did with that conference call number? If you have to go from a calendar, to a to-do list, to a map app when you are planning your day, consider this post a dream come true!
With our lives moving at the speed of light, who doesn’t need some help keeping everything together. I have been testing several apps that are guaranteed to make you life, just a little easier. Another great feature of all of these is they are free (although, Cue has a paid version, as well)
My new favorite app donna. Donna is an app that ties together many important features. Donna will not only allow you to schedule your appointments, but she keeps you on time and prepared with weather updates and information you need now. She tells you the expected travel time, and what time you need to leave. With the place button, she allows you to pull in addresses, often by using information already available on the web. She will tell you when you need to leave to arrive on-time, and she will even tell you if you are running behind via text. If you have back to back appointments, you can use donna to get you from appointment to appointment, with directions from one place to another, and with information about when you should leave to arrive on-time with each entry where you have entered a location. Donna is available for free in the app store….right now she is only available for those on the Apple platform, and you have to have IOS6. I think she is great, so give her a try! Cue is another great app that can help you bring everything together. This app brings together information from Facebook, calendars, and several other places that make your life easier. Cue opens up with your weather for the day, a list of birthdays and events both today and in the near future. It will remind you of calls and other important information. It even brings in tracking details for UPS, and FedEx, now more searching for that email with the tracking number, it’s all in Cue. You can set up as much as you want, or as little as you want. Cue will also bring in your flight information, sunset and sunrise times, and conference calls. Best of all Cue can be used on-line, and the premium version can be linked with SalesForce, Basecamp, Evernote, as well of a hefty list of others. Find our more here. Https://www.cueup.com
Lastly, EasilyDo. Is the most extensive of the three apps, and it is available for both iphone and android users. It reminds you when it is time to leave. It gives you the weather, it integrates with your contacts, and similar to Cue put tons of information at your fingertips. With the Facebook integration, it reminds you of birthdays and other important events and allows you to post now, or schedule your Happy Birthday’s, so you are always on-time. EasilyDo helps you stay on top of those conference call, so no more hunting for call information or wondering what time the conference was supposed to be. With the press of a button, you are on the call and ready for business. It also looks through your contacts for duplicates and gets rid of them for you. It also asks you if you want to add new contacts from e-mail to your contact lists, saving you time and future aggravation. It will put your events, and important posts from friends on your radar, so you don’t miss anything if you haven’t had the time to check in to Facebook. It will also tell you about those things you don’t want to miss on You Tube, and on e-mail. It not only looks great, but it is also incredibly helpful. If you are looking for a great way to get organized, or you just want to simplify your life, give these apps a try. Although I use all three, Donna and easilyDo are my favorites, but please test these out and let me know what you think. If you are using something else, please share your experinces I would love about what you are using.
