How To Cash In On Those Workouts: Get Paid To Get Healthy

10:37 am by Aida Leave a Comment

Of course, you know the health benefit of working out and getting in shape, but did you know losing weight could also payoff financially?

No, you don’t have to buy anything and no, this isn’t a hoax.  I just found some fun ways to get paid for doing what you want to do anyway.  So, whether you workout in the gym, on the road, at home, or you find some creative ways to get those workouts done, this an article you don’t want to miss.

Today I am spilling the beans and sharing the things that I’ve done to make working out pay off.

First, for the record let me be clear:

No these tips won’t make you a millionaire, but they may pay for your gym membership, help you get some new clothes or pay for a nice lunch.

Are you excited yet?

These are two of my favorite tricks, but you want to stay tuned as I will be sharing more great ways to earn and lose.

If you are serious about working out and just need some positive reinforcement keep reading.

Here is the first tool… PACT

I had a great time with the $15 that I earned using PACT and I could of made even more if I made bigger Pacts.  So here is the skinny.

Pact pays you if you keep your workout dates, and you pay them if you don’t.

How It Works –

You commit to one of three activities, you choose what you want.

  • You can log what you eat
  • You can check in when you exercise and log over 30 minutes per workout
  • You take pictures of the fruits and vegetables you eat.

As long as you keep your commitment you earn CASH! If you don’t, well let’s just say thank you for your donation, which will pay for my reward.
I got extra excited about PACT when someone I met said she earned $20 in a week.

I’m not exactly sure how she earned that much, but as soon as I do I will be sure to share.

Pick Two is Shopkick,

ShopKick may not be what you would call a traditional app to help motivate you to workout, but I am going to show you how to make it you secret weapon.

I earned an Old Navy gift card for $5 after only using this app for 2 days. The other benefit,I logged over 12,000 steps for both of those days.

With Shop Kick you get paid for checking in, shopping, scanning items and purchasing things.

How to cash in and stay motivated with Shop Kicks

You can use ShopKick to fast start your brisk walks in the mall and your 10,000 step practice with the goal of getting as many Kicks as possible

Your Reward
Some of your favorite items and goodies for free or discounted.

I had my daughter sign up and she got a $5 gift card for Starbucks in less than two days.

Use ShopKick and your trips to the mall to pay off big time, collect kicks, scans and purchases to earn rewards.  Use those activities to rack up steps and get yourself some exercise.

Yes, the Shopkick amounts change, but having a goal that you can work toward is not only motivating it is also fun and it turns working out into a contact sport.

So give these two apps a try and start cashing in on those workouts!
