Great Productivity Tips To Help You Enjoy #WhatMatters Most

10:59 pm by Aida J Ingram Leave a Comment

You know productivity matters, but sometimes finding tips that work is hard!

We asked some of the ladies from the Girlfriends With Goals Community for some of their best productivity tips and this is what you told us!

Tip 1 – Don’t hold on to things too long.
Sometimes you need to let it go! But, that means you have to make letting things go easy, not hard. With that in mind. It’s not a bad idea to think about creating processes that you can use to say goodbye to things you don’t need or don’t use fast. This tips was one of our favorites….

April C. – I keep a give away box in the hallway. When it’s filled it goes out

Tip 2- Motivation is key. Know how to motivate yourself so you really can get it done.
It is so easy for you to have great expectations, and poor implementation, so you have to know how to get things moving in the right direction and to do it consistently. So knowing what gets you moving is so important. I loved this tip from one of our community members.

Ariel W. Save the tasks you enjoy the most as a “treat”.

Tip 3 – You can’t do everything at the same time, so stop trying.
There are times when you have to face the facts you want to get things done, but it feels better to work on a number of things at once. I know that you want to takeover the world, but when it comes down to it, focusing one thing at a time yields better results. This tip came from one of our community members.

Kelli B. Stay focused on one thing at a time

Last, but not least. Put it on the schedule.
The best way to get things done is deciding when you will able to do them. That means taking the time to actually plan to do it. Take out your calendar and put it down. Having a date and a time on the calendar makes it easier, and more likely that it will make it to the done list. This tip was shared and it makes a lot of sense.

Christina F. shared her productivity tip with us. I like to put my task on a scheduled block instead of a list so I know what needs to be done when.

Here are just a few tips you may like some of them, and then there may be others that don’t work for you.
Give a few of these a try and let us know how you think.
