It is that time of year, it is pushing and planning time.
So, you need to get ready!
During the next month, you have the ability to finish the year off strong while you plan and prepare for an amazing new year. Sure, you could just keep going on business as usual, but why would you do that when you can choose to thrive.
As I look to help you move into a more fabulous new year, I am going to share some of the books I have enjoyed and been pursing over this last year that I think would be a blessings to your growing and stretching process.
So here goes the first four picks.
The first book is Greater. I got this book by “mistake” two years ago, someone sent it to me in error and told me to keep it. I am sorry to say, although I looked at it I just finished it 2 weeks ago. In this book, Steve Furtick challenges us to think larger and bigger with God. Steve is transparent in all of his books, which I truly appreciate and what I also love is he encourages you to push toward those things that you need to change in your own life.
Greater by Steve Furtick
The second pick is a book, I haven’t quite finished, but I am more than 1/2 way through. This book also by Steve Furtick. In Sun Stand Still, he encourages you to be bold, and to ask for the impossible. He challenges your small thinking and encourages you to go and grow BIGGER. This is a must read and it surely leaves you with a lot to do and thank about.

Crash the Chatterbox
The third book also by Steve Furtick, the pastor of Elevation Church deals with your mindset more so than the other two books. Here he shares his own challenges with the voice inside of us that makes us question what we are doing and how we are feeling. He shares how he has dealt with that little voice inside of him that second guesses his steps and choices and tries to keep him stuck. I loved this book for so many reasons, but most of all because he reminds us of the wonderful blessings there are waiting for us if we just go, and press forward.
We all struggle with something, but that doesn’t mean you have to or that you should stop.
Last but not least, Colliding With Destiny by Sarah Jakes
This is one of Sarah’s two books the other one, I will share with you later. This is the perfect devotional for you as you go into this new season. No matter where you have been, there is a reason for every step. Work through your pain, your disappointments and realize that every step is taking you to someone worth traveling.
This is the devotion that will help you get prepared for where you are going!
These books are also available on Amazon. Build your library, build your mind….
