Today I had a chance to check out the pre-sale for Just Between Friends. Whoo Hoo!
I heard people talk about this sale several times before, but I never had a chance to go. For the past couple of weeks, this sale was the talk of the town…seriously. All the ladies I talked to were excited about what they were going to find, and it even got covered on the news, but I had never caught it myself.
When I pulled up to the large facility in Oaks, PA there were already women outside waiting to get in. They had cart, bags and luggage carts ready to go.
There were news vans outside and people were REALLY excited about getting in and shopping.
Now, I had no idea what to expect, this was my first time and as a newbie I had plenty to learn.
First, Just Between Friends is a consignment sale, where you can find just about anything you need for your kids. There was a sea of great items to choose from clothing, toys, diaper bags, furniture, dvd’s movies, books, you name it.
My experienced friends, and the website gave me some tips so I could make the most out of this experience.
In order to make the most out of this experience, and to be prepared I was given a few instructions to make the most of my visit to the Just Between Friends Sale.
1. Bring a list with sizes.
2. Have an idea what I am looking for
3. Dress comfortably
4. Be prepared for a huge selection of books, videos, bags, clothing, toys, costumes, strollers, and you name it.
5. Get ready for a fun and rewarding ride…
There were so many Elmo dolls there I could hardly believe my eyes. And I mean, who doesn’t love Elmo!
There were so many items to choose from, and the prices were great. All those smiling Elmo faces were just what I needed to put some smiles on my nephew and nieces faces.
There was a whole selection dedicated to Thomas the Train. I had never seen that many Thomas the Train items in my life. I felt like I was at Toys R’ Us. So, if you have a Thomas the Train fan in your house, trust me when I say, you will have the time of your life.
Now when you are trying to spend more time doing things as a family games are where it is at, and here there were games galore. The games that they covered every age from zero – to adult. Plus, many of the games, were still wrapped in the original plastic.
In the center of the floor they even have a hold area, just in case, you couldn’t hold everything you picked up. This sale is serious.
If your little one loves adventure.. this sea of entertainment seemed to go on forever. I could just imagine having a kid running through the aisles this would be like going to an amusement park, with all of these great toys to choose from. I even saw a kid’s electronic scooter. When these moms get home, their kids are going to feel like it’s Christmas!
Look at all these games, many of them are brand, spanking new.
Look at this Leap Frog section…I felt like they had a little bit of everything. These goodies are going to make someone really happy.
If you thought I was kidding when I said they have everything, this is just a small area of the diaper bag section. They even had bags there for dad.
Can you believe they even had a baby lazy boy chair. I wish they had one of these in my size. Maybe if I try, I can fit into this one…Ok, probably not!
Beyond cute!!
These activity sets were amazing and the selection was absolutely overwhelming. They had everyone covered with everything thing from ride alongs, shopping carts, ovens, kitchen sets, and more. Let me tell you some of these shoppers were busy. They had stacks of stuff in the hold area, before I even had my first item in my hand.
I can’t believe I almost forgot to take a picture of all of the clothing. The whole back section of the sale was filled with clothing for boys, and girls. They had everything from fancy dresses, to socks, and shoes and sneakers. It was not surprising to find clothes with tags still on them.
At the end of my trip I found some great deals. A Brand New Vera Bradley Lunch Box at 60% off, it still had the tags on it.
A wonderful chalk board with paper attached. This will be great for everything from lessons from now until summer, to lessons plans and goals.
Last, but not least I found a brands new paid of Adidas $15. I was incredibly happy with this experience, my savings and my selection.
This sale was not only great, there was so much to choose from . Those who came in the sale with a list were off to the horses, and ran circles around me, but I still managed to find more some great buys. So I earned my stripes.

The Just Between Friends sale was an experience that I truly enjoyed. And well worth the trip.
If you are a parent and want to find some great deals this IS the place to go.
Next year I am bringing things to sell.
It is a great way to make some extra cash.
The other thing that I failed to mention earlier is this is a sale that you can participate in not just by shopping, but by selling. Consigners at the sale make 60% of the profit, so if you have a ton of things you have been trying to get rid of, you need to go to the website and find out when this event is coming to your area, so that you can make some cold hard cash on some of your items.
If you want to get into the sale early, you can also volunteer, which gives you the ability to come in early and shop. You also earn another 10% profit on your sales.
