We were given this Transformer Set to Review. The story, the creation, experience, and opinion are all are own…
Looking For A Break, Or Some Fun It May Be Time To Transform
Well, the weather out here in New Jersey has been interesting, and well honestly so has life this time of year. It is hard to find the time to stop as you shop, decorate, and well just run around.
As you put together your Holiday gift list this year, and you are looking for something that will give your children some entertainment, while allowing them to use their imagination, and be creative you may want to check out this.
When I was young, I grew up with the Transformers, I remember when they first came on TV (yes, I am dating myself). Like many other people I was captivated by both the episodes, the fights, and the transformations.
As time has gone on, like many of you those images have moved to the big screen as we have seen the those comics come to life. Always entertaining and always exciting!
This holiday season, I had a chance to do something fun and entertaining with my family, putting together my own transformers. We took out the pieces and got to work. And boy, was it funny to see a stack of pieces come together and have the chance to make something creative with my family.
We each had our own ideas as we looked at the package, the instructions and the pieces. What would we create and would it be easy?
I will be honest it was a team effort, and we all laughed a lot as we looked at the pieces and tried to figure out how to put all the pieces together with our different techniques. I tried to do it without the instructions….EPIC fail.
My daughter was somewhere in between and my hubby came in for the saves when we needed help.
Who would of thought that putting together transformers could turn into a FUN family affair? We laughed and joked and tried to transform our final creation into the many things that it could become, and really found that it was quite a refreshing experience for us all.
I could also see how it could be great fun for both young person, and those who are a little more seasoned who loved the series, or a collector who wanted a step up, or someone who just wanted to try something a little different from the status quo. The experience lent itself to an afternoon of family fun, but it would just as easily been quiet time for your favorite transformer fan, or builder. The little case it comes in makes it easy to travel, and the fact that you can be creative and create more than one thing was a bonus.
Not to mention, our little creation has been quite the talk of the town, as people came they always made a comment about it. There were lots of questions and I think they even secretly wanted to pick it up and try it themselves. I can only imagine seeing a kids face light up as they told the story about their little creation. I was even thinking of using our as our own little elf on the shelf, but I thought it might be a bit too much for some, so maybe not…
If you want to make a young person’s eyes light up this holiday season, add one of these to your list and see what happens when you take the time to do it together….
