As someone who loves pictures and photography. I am really exciting about learning how to take better pictures and using software to make my skills even better.
I have been practicing and doing what I can to improve. My camera helps a lot, but I am working on coming off the automatic settings and really testing my manual skills. I took a class and the teacher recommended using software programs to make your pictures look better and to clean them up.
At Best Buy not only can buy the camera and your lenses, but now you can also get the software that will help you create pictures that make you feel like a rockstar. Check it out, it’s right here!
I am trying out Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop for a year thanks to Best Buy. Adobe has several very affordable packages, and one of them is the Photography package.
I am going to take this slow, but I will show you what I have done so far and please check in every once in a while to see my progress.
BEFORE PICTURE:
THIS IS THE AFTER PICTURE
Here I lightened the picture and gave it some additional color. I liked the way that these adjustments gave my picture more life. I like the brighter pink color and I love the more vibrant green.
BEFORE PICTURE
This is the before picture – there are a number of things that made this picture unusable or more likely to fall in the never being used pile. The street is too prominent and the picture is just a little drab.
AFTER PICTURE
This is what I did- I lightened the picture, blurred out the window and also made the picture more artistic.
This is only my first attempt using Photoshop, so be kind. I know I still have a way to go. I will watch the tutorials and improve and then make another attempt at creating more captivating pictures. I am also looking forward to dong more with our family pictures, and more nature shots where I have seen examples of Photoshop that I admire and feel will really give my shots and edge.
The other great thing about this service is I can edit my shots when I am mobile. They have a number of apps that you can tap into and there is also a CreativeCloud storage that comes with this subscription that allows you to access your pictures anywhere you choose. The other benefit I haven’t tried yet is the library of articles and tutorials, as well as the community of users that you can tap into when you need help or some advice.
So, if you are ready to kick your photography talents up a notch, so that you can create more vibrant and captivating pictures give the Creative Cloud from Adobe at BestBuy a try.
