How To Eat Healthy On The Go…Plan Well #HealthyLiving

Healthy eating is a choice, you have to make everyday.

In the summer, eating healthy can be a super easy or super hard depending on how you plan.  There are tons of great choices around.  Fruits and vegetables are easy to find and since so many things are in season from Spring to Fall the choices are unbelievable.

There is the other side of this story.  In the Summer, there are tons of BBQ’s and you are eating out more.  There are restaurants, festivals, vacations, and tons of ice cream, candy, and other goodies that you only see in the warmer months.

Funnel cake, water ice, fried this and fried, there are all kinds of sugary goodies.   Temptations are everywhere(and it’s not the ones that sing), so you have to plan well and you have to learn how to be STRONG.

Just because goodies are lurking everywhere, doesn’t mean you have decide to put those foods in your mouth.

Remember, what you put in your mouth will eventually show up on your body whether you like it or not!  So choose well!

Keeping temptation at bay is much easier if you PLAN ahead.  Having bags of fruit, or even deciding when you will stop and what you will eat is imperative if you don’t want to regret your choices later.

I have also come to realize the important of bringing GOOD OPTIONS with you, instead of assuming you will find something while you out is vital.  The likelihood of you making a healthy choice when you are starving is significantly smaller when you are surrounded by sugary treats or high fat goodies.

So, what is a smart and healthy girl to do, BE PREPARED!

I found this box a few months ago and I fell in love.  When temperatures start to rise the heat makes packing healthy goodies in my car more difficult.  The heat breaks down my fruits to almost nothing. When I found my first bag of strawberry juice I knew I needed something to get me through the summer.

This goodie took care of all the problems and made my plan so much easier to implement.

I packed my fresh strawberries and went out the door.  Usually, the car usually becomes a sauna in minutes, and is unbearable in no time.  After more than an hour of direct heat, my food was still cold. YES!!

Another one of my summertime favorites is this water bottle,

The bottle has a trusty handle, the citrus juicer built into the bottle.  Not to mention the fact that water taste better in glass.  (I am not sure why, but it does).  After months of use this water bottle is my favorite all year round, especially in the summer when I know that need to drink more water.
