Be anxious for NOTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. – Phil 4:6
On any given Sunday, churches through out the land are filled, some to capacity others with only a sprinkle. We pray, we praise, we remember, we sing, and we get the fuel we need for another day!
The message from the Lord lifts our hearts and souls and helps us recall the promises of a faithful and every moving God. Today though is Monday, and you will walk in to offices across the country and even the world. Co-workers who as the Bible said know not Joseph, they don’t know the history of God or his promises will be pulled by all that they see in front of them because they have not seen the Red Sea parted, and they don’t even know that it is possible will point out real life issues that you will have to address, at times in very expedient fashion.
Some time today, you will need to send some knee mail to God! It maybe for your kids, for yourself, or for someone you don’t even know. No matter what! STOP! Before you allow the pressures of this world come attacking, praise Him, thank Him, look for Him, trust Him, but most of all call on His name! He answers knee mail! Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. If you pray, He will answer, even if it’s packaging doesn’t look the way you think!
Today before you get pulled into to life and take the pressures of this world on your shoulders take some time on your knees, in silent prayer to God. Remember the messages that you celebrated this weekend. Think on the goodness of the Lord and His promises to be with you, and never forsake you. Remember the charge you were given to be strong and courageous in a land that He has already promised to give you everything your foot touches. Think on the very things that used to fear you and remind yourself that God showed up there too! Able and ready to set the captives free.
Today spend time in prayer, about the big things and the small thing….develop the habit of trusting God with all your secrets….develop sweet fellowship with Him!
