As I sit here smiling, as I think about my life over the last year I am truly amazed. The conversation, the people, the places, the joy…..
Let’s be clear, in NO WAY was my life free of problems, but you know! Everyday I live is a GIFT!
I had another year to enjoy family and friends. I saw some new things, I made new goals and met most of them. I failed, failed again, and eventually I got up and succeeded, or at least I learned enough to move forward. Nope, it wasn’t perfect! Nope, not in the least, but I lived to tell about it.
Looking back over my life was crazy, there were so many things that I forgot…..
UGH, I have to take more time to stop and smell the roses, so at least I can remember.
I don’t know about you, but I remember taking out those old photo albums, and laughing at everything from the clothes to how funny we all looked, but I haven’t done anything like that for at least 7 good years. All of those memories are in dropbox, inside of cameras or memory sticks. I am so embarassed…
All that fun I had, all the experiences some of which are on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, but it’s not the same.
Know if you don’t know I am ALL ABOUT fast and easy solutions, no one has tons of time to go back and forth. I am sure most of us can justify having the pictures somewhere…..but it wasn’t until I went to the HP event where they showcased their printers, that I realized how many of my memoiries are frozen in time.
Can I tell you how much fun I had pulling up my pictures and looking at all the goodies that are right in front of my face? Printing out memories from new people I met, conferences I attended, dinner with family and friends, you name it.
The flowers I got my mom for Mother’s Day… I am sure those flowers have been dead for weeks. Wait until she get this cute card, with a picture and a caption. I can only imagine the look on her face. She will feel like she got them twice.
Interviewing this wonderful women, another great memory to add to the archives
My friends from Chicago and Florida, can’t wait to see them again.
I love my phone and all those pics loaded on it, but printing out these pictures reminded me how many of those moments I missed, or just temporarily forgot. I know it sounds crazy, but I really missed PICTURES…
As much as I love the convenience or carrying a ton of pictures. Sitting and sharing those memories with friends is just not the same.
I may not print all of my pictures, but I am going to be intentional about doing more than I have been doing.
HP’s new printer made all of my shots come to life, even the ones I posted on social media. They even have cool social media sized framing it’s pretty awesome.
So, whether it is sunrise or sunset on a getaway…
Or that picture you took just because…take out that phone, and check out the new HP app. Hp Snapshot (I didn’t even tell you the best parts, but trust me there is so much more).
Take out that camera, go and capture some of those priceless Facebook and Instagram pics and share with your friends.
If you realize you are missing out on some of those precious moments that you just don’t want to miss, you want to check out their new tools and look for ways to make pictures a bigger part of your life.
I can’t be the only one who gave up printing pictures for the last five years.
Life is too short to let all those moments just fly by….Capture those moments and share them… you know you can use a good laugh and a great smile! Reliving those moments was just what the doctor ordered, in every sense of the word.
I guess that old adage is true, a picture really is worth a thousand words and obviously it’s worth 1,001 words if you print it and share it with those people you love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My pictures are nice, but you probably want some of your own. If you feel like you are missing precious moments, check this printer out for yourself. Don’t let the busy moments we all have steal those precious memories before you even have a chance to really enjoy them and realize how precious they are.
