Learning How To Juice is not as hard as you think. The first question I think most people struggle with is where do I start? There is nothing like taking a whole bunch of vegetables and fruits together only to find out what you created tastes horrible. Here are some guidelines you may want to follow to make the process a little easier.
Start off with a strong base that will give you a large amount of juice. Pineapples yield a lot of juice and their juice is sweet and blends well with vegetables or fruits.
Carrots are a great base as well, they offer tons of juice, are nutritious and mix well with a lot of items.
You should also think about what kind of juice you want. If you want a sweet juice, you want to make sure you are juicing items that will give you what you want. Know what fruits and vegetables make sweet juices (for instance, pineapple, apples, carrots, grapes, melons, usually make sweet juices), and which ones make bitter juices so that you can you can balance the juices you are making. I have found that when you start with juices that you think will work well together, you usually have a winning combination, once my base is together, then I will add other things I think might compliment it. This is something that I have tried, and I love the way it is working so far! Some of this process is trial and error.
Another trick I am using that has been working out well is starting off with safe tastes and then adding vegetables slowly to make it more nutritious.
Here are a couple of tricks to remember. You need to make sure you have at least one and maybe even two items in your list that have a nice amount of juice, in this case it was the orange and the pineapple.
Happy Juicing…..
The yield on this is about 8-10oz. (2 servings)
2 hearty shards of pineapple,
2 handfuls spinach,
1/2 orange,
1 inch long piece of tumeric – Mine
If you want to spice it up a little…add some sparkling water. It will turn your juice into a juice spritzer, without adding any additional calories.

Turmeric is a great spice. It fights all kinds of free radicals, it is incredibly helpful for your body and has tons of health benefits. It looks a little like ginger.
