Olivia Pope says this all the time. “Consider it handled” if you are a fan you know that means everything is under control.
At the beginning of the season in Olivia Pope fashion, I thought I had everything under control. I was ready for the new season to start and of course, I thought I had everything under control. Thursday night, 9 PM EST, let’s go! Got my plan, all is well…
Thursday night was here, but there was one small problem I wasn’t at home.
I know what to do…I stayed off Twitter and Facebook (Because those Twitter and Facebook folks, will tell it ALL!) I walked through the door on went the T.V.
It’s 9:30pm, the show was in full swing and I was LOST.
Darn! I need to watch this from the beginning, so I pressed the DVR button and to my dismay NO SCANDAL!
WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!
How Did I FORGET To SCHEDULE the new season of SCANDAL?
[Tweet ” If you Love a show & you want to see it, check the #DVR before the season starts. @aidajingram”]
There is no way to fix this, No DVR recording, No Scandal at least not until tomorrow. I messed up!
I have to wait, but LESSON LEARNED!!
Bottom Line: Plan Ahead
Scheduling is easy if you’re at home or near your remote, but what if you’re not? I knew I needed a solution that would work anytime, because I am ALWAYS on the go.
As a technology lover and as a #Fios customer, I found out that I actually have options.
Whether you are on the go, or just busy at home the #Fios app is awesome. I found out that in just a few minutes, you can schedule all of your favorite programs right from your phone or tablet, it’s easy.
People will often share programs that they love to watch and now I can go right in my app, do a search and record it in three easy steps. Pull up the guide, find the show, press record… it’s just that easy.
After I missed the first episode of Scandal, I went schedule happy. All the shows in the Fall season lineup that I knew I wanted to catch, I scheduled them ALL. I went back into the app to see what I already scheduled because this mess CAN’T and WON’T happen again.
If you have Fios, schedule the programs on your app so you don’t miss any of your favorites. Scandal is popular so thankfully it’s was still available, but that doesn’t always happen.
BOTTOM LINE: My favorite shows are all scheduled, and now you know how to do the same.
Don’t have Fios.. I encourage you to check them out they always have great deals going and you owe it to yourself to see what they are here
Already have Fios, make sure you download the app, it’s free and worth having even if you use it as a backup.
Disclosure: As a Fios Ambassador, I am sharing this post on behalf of our friends at Verizon Fios, all opinions are my own.

I am pretty good at scheduling my favorite shows but there are a few times where I no where near home to catch my miss. So I need to download the app to manage those memory lapses.
