I love eating healthy and this recipe is so easy make, and tastes sooooo good.
I had this dish at P.F. Chang’s a few months ago and fell in love, so I played around until I learned how to make a recipe that was actually even better than the original.
You start out with just a few items that are easy to find.
Ingredients:
1 bag of frozen string beans
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of olive oil
Chili Garlic Sauce
Optional
Portabello Mushrooms
Take out 3 cloves of garlic and put them in a garlic press, or cut the garlic in very small pieces.
Pour the olive oil into the pan and add the pressed or minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
Add the string beans to the oil and let them cook down unto the desired consistency.
I like to cook mine down until they are tender, but it’s up to you if you want them al dente, or whether you want them to be soft and tender.
When the string beans are cooked to the desired consistency, add a spoonful of the Chili Garlic Sauce
Stir the string beans and the sauce for 2 minutes and then the strong beans are done, if you want to add more chili sauce add another spoonful.
When the string beans are done, I added some sautéed mushrooms to the top to give the dish a little more substance. You can eat alone or serve with rice…
Bon Appetite
