I love good food, so I am always looking for great places to dine.  Discovering great places to eat is a personal pastime.  I hear about great restaurants all the time, but I like to have a personal recommendation before I actually try them myself.

There is a restaurant that everyone has been talking about and I just never got around to actually trying until not.  The Cheesecake Factory had some how not made my list, but when they extended an invitation to try some of their new goodies I jumped at the chance.

The Center City Philadelphia location is locate at 14th and Walnut.  It is on the second floor and the entry way is beautiful.  The escalator takes you to the 2nd floor and you are greeted by a a display case of cheesecake and beautiful decor.

Tada…lots and lots and lots of cheesecake.  If you love dessert this might actually be your first stop. The menu seemed to have a cheesecake for everyone and then some.  I took home banana cream because after all the amazing food I couldn’t eat another thing.  And of course, I couldn’t miss out on their specialty.

Now for the food…..well, let’s start at the beginning…

We tried a number of their appetizers, I will start with my favorite first.

Chicken Taquitos….

The flavor of these were completely amazing.  They were light and filling and I could o eaten about 10 more of these. I have these on my have these again soon list…. Muy Bueno!

If you are looking for a super shocker at least for me and most of the people at my table….here it is… Korean Fried Cauliflower.  These are absolutely mouthwatering.  These were beyond amazing everyone at the table was a huge fan.  Definitely something to all to you to try list.

Truffle-Bacon Grilled Cheese Sticks… now I will tell you I didn’t actually try these because I can’t eat bread right now, but everyone else at the table was totally in love with these and I mean totally.  They looked really good though.

Last but not least on the appetizer side… were these Nashville Hot Chicken Nuggets.  These had great flavor, they weren’t too hot, but they were good.  Another great option from their new lineup.

A new addition to their for lineup perfect for all my friends who want to cut some of the extra calories.  This Skinnylicious Chicken Pot Pie is light and delicious both figuratively and literally. Low calorie and amazing.

For my salad lovers….

I present the Chicken, Mango and Avocado Salad.

This salad is not just beautiful it is also incredibly tasty.  The salad mixes gave you tremendous options. The chicken with the mango gave it a fruity island flavor.  IT was really good.  I would definitely add this one to my list.  It also was HUGE, surely one of those eat some now and have some later options.

Now here are the entrees….

Pasta Napoletana

We all sat at the table trying to figure out how they made this yummy goodness. Cheese, butter, wow I can’t even describe this too you.  The flavors were so distinct, but they paired together in ways I can’t even begin to tell you. This was a mouthwatering dish that I hope to see added to their regular menu. YUMMMMY.

I asked the chef what his favorite new dish was and he quickly pointed out this one.  Chicken Riesling, is a marriage of chicken, bacon, mushrooms and a cream sauce that will keep you coming back for more.  This was one of my favorites as well, that chef has great taste because these were unbelievably good.

If you like chicken and you want to try something new The Truffle Honey Chicken was another favorite. The chicken was moist and flavorful.  I thought I might need a sauce or something to kick it up a notch, but it was perfect just the way it was.

There is nothing like dessert at the Cheesecake Factory… so I had to give you an idea of the amazing flavors that you can find with their cheesecake selection.

My neighbors tried this and they were very happy….

The Cheesecake Factory was amazing from the time I entered the doors until I rolled out.  The new menu items have something for everyone and make great additions to their already amazing options. It is well worth the trip, I know I will be going again and I would recommend that you do the same.
