It was a year or so ago when I realized just how exposed I was. The free wifi I had pretty much lived on for as long as I could remember as I traveled to and fro just wasn’t safe and I had no idea. UGH!!
I had admittedly scheduled meetings around the convenience of free wifi, but now the truth was out.
It was pretty clear that I could be exposing myself to dangers unknown and that was no longer an option, so I took out my checkbook and headed to the mobile phone store. At the time, I thought my only option was purchasing a wifi hotspot so that is exactly what I did, crisis adverted right? Not really!
I did more research and realized that the safety of my internet use whether I was on my phone or my computer was opening me up to all kinds of risks. Apparently, the cost of being online was a lot higher than I thought.
Over the last few months, hearing about all of the data being leaked, everything from e-mails to pictures is even more troubling as a mom and a business woman. Issues like hacking and data breaches that seem to occur almost everyday, made me aware that this was a way bigger issue than just free wifi.
When I found out about about Freedome, I was excited, I realized that there were some other options. It gave me the protection I was looking for when I was on outside wifi networks and so much more. This VPN service, Freedome offers protects things I had no idea were issues. It also offers privacy that we all want when we are online.
