Spaghetti Squash with tomato
What you need:
Spaghetti squash
can of tomato puree
can tomato paste
3 garlic gloves (chopped finely or minced)
( I would add onion)
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tbsp of olive oil
dash of seasoned salt
dash of pepper
Turn the oven on 350 degrees. Take the spaghetti squash and cut it in half, clean out the seeds.
Place it face down in the oven and cook for about 45 minutes. Take a fork and clean out the squash it should look like spaghetti. Put your olive oil In a frying pan on medium heat. Add garlic cloves and cook for a minute, then add the squash and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5 minutes and then add the tomato paste and mix. Once it is mixed together, add the tomato puree, and the salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes and you are done.
When I made this I didn’t add onions but, next time I will probably add them for additional flavor. Also, I would probably add fresh basil leaves for additional flavor.
