I am a big fan of great skin. I want my skin to both look and feel great. A big part of that is paying attention to what you put on your skin and making are you are always taking care of it.
My Skin Is Important And So Is Making Sure It Looks and Feels Great!
As I have gotten older, I have seen a change in the way my skin both looks and feels. I don’t do a lot of chemicals, which means ingredients are a big part of any regimen I use whether I am talking about my face or my body. I also want to test things out not just once, but over a period of time to make sure that my results are not just a one time thing, but to make sure I have the same results overtime.
I have also become a big fan of essential oils. They work well not just for challenges I ‘ve had in the past like stomach problems and allergies. (I wrote an article about stomach problems here and this is my story about allergies and here is the one I wrote about allergy issues) I also love the way they work on my skin. So when I see these kinds of ingredients in products I am trying I always take a second look.
Although this wasn’t a brand I was familiar with, I gave them a try because of the ingredients. I love it when products are full of ingredients that I can readily identify and that I know have beneficial properties that work out well for me long term.
So, what happened when I tested these two products?
The Pure and Pampered Body Wash was lightly scented and had hints of lavender. It had a hint of calm in it, it lathered but I didn’t feel like I was washing up with Mr. Bubble. In the spring and early summer, I can have challenges with my allergies.
With this product, I wasn’t concerned about an allergy flare up because of the scent. The scent was also light enough to be used without coaching with a perfume or a scented lotion. Most importantly, my skin felt great!
Now here goes, part two….
How would the All Day Moisture Body Lotion rate?
Well first, once again I loved the ingredients. Some of my favorite are Vitamin E, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lemon Oil, and Chamomile.
The scent was light, but the lemon definitely stood out. Even though, the scent was strong, it wasn’t overpowering. So, bottom line is I like it.
I used this product in the winter. The temperatures were especially cold and my skin was EXTRA DRY. The lotion got the job done, meaning my skin didn’t look or feel dry, but I prefer a heavier lotion with more oil. I want my skin to have some shine.
Verdict:
I really loved the body wash!! I loved the scent, I felt clean and I loved the way it made my skin feel. I would definitely buy it again.
The body lotion worked and the scent was nice. My skin felt good, but because I like something heavier I would personally buy another product. If you are not a fan of a heavier lotion, this product would probably be perfect for you.
Bottom line: Both products are good, I would definitely buy the body wash, I would use the lotion, but I would end up using it along with some thing else.
