It’s All About Your Choices!

It’s All About Your Choices

This morning I had to make a decision should I do something now, or should I wait.  Honestly, this thought ran through my mind as I wasted way more time then I needed to on my choice. One thing that successful people do well is they make decisions, QUICKLY!  They don’t spend hours thinking things over because most decisions don’t take that much time to make.  You usually know what you want to do you just put off making the choice for emotional or unrealistic reasons.  Successful people don’t waste time they look at the scenario, lay out the pros and cons and then they decide.  BAM!!!!

As I sat at my office desk, and made my choice, I knew I really made the choice last night I just hadn’t implemented it, this thought came to me.  I know I am not the only one who does this!

THE REAL TRUTH!

The life you are living today is a picture of all the decisions you have made over your entire life because your life is built on your choices. Will I accept this job, will I buy this car, will I live in this neighborhood, will I date this guy, will I spend this money, or will I take this chance?  Your choices have determined your directions, your activities and will ultimately spell out your results.  They are the key that opens up the door to your future, whether it’s good or whether it is bad.  All that time you are wasting being scared about making the wrong choice, and about feeling guilty about the bad choices you made in your past are causing you to waste precious time, and making you waste precious energy that you will never be able to get back again.  We all do this, and it’s time to stop, so here are some questions for you to consider, to help you move forward, and make some faster, and better choices in your future.

1.    What is your real why?  Whenever you make a decision you should know why you are REALLY making it.  Our past can direct us or make us fearful, and if we don’t know that, we can find ourselves making decisions based on fear. Analyze your decisions, so you identify the fear and make a better choice.  Know your why ! 2.    Face the facts, you are still going to make some mistakes!  You are going to be learning from now until the time you leave this earth, and no matter how long you live one thing that is true is you are going to make some mistakes.  Know that, and learn to live with it, and then move forward once and for all. 3.     Know what you expect to get out of your decision.  You need to know what you want your result to be, and then you need to be able to identify whether or not this decision is really going to get you there. You need to know if this choice is going to pull you further away, or is it going to help you.

It is time for you to move forward, to make the choices that will make it possible for you to get where you want and need to go.  Those dreams, desires, and goals will not happen on their own you have to cultivate an environment where growth and development are possible.  Make better choices and make them faster!IMG_1702
