Well we are well on our way into this summer movie blockbuster season.
Perhaps you caught the Avengers, San Andreas, Pitch Perfect 2 or some of the other hot movies.
Today I want to highlight some new additions to the movies and give you some food for thought as you decide what you may go and see this weekend.
Jurrasic World
The long awaited movie takes us back to the park. With some new characters, a new story line and well of course some new dinosaur friends.
I will tell you that at first I had no interest in taking in this film, the trailers made it seem like something that was more for kids than families, many of the big draws of the movies were mere mentions in the previews. So. let’s just say I had prematurely marked this for items to check out where it made it to video.
When I was given the chance to check out the flick for myself I was open to seeing it, and was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Adventure, drama, fun, a little love story. It had a little of it all and I really enjoyed it. I saw the 3-D version and I am happy to report that I would give it pretty high marks.

Me, Earl and The Dying Girl
This movie came across my email a few times, but with a title like this I just couldn’t bring myself to even entertain the idea. That was until I took the time to watch the trailer. As I watched this movie, these characters and this story open up in front of my eyes I realized that this was a must see. This movie played at Sundance receiving a standing ovation. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, the winner of both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. It is based on a book [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin=”B00Y3G69RK”]
Bottom Line: This movie looks amazing, I can’t wait to see it. I will update this review when I can tell you more. Although, if the previously mentioned awards are any indication of what I can expect, I am really excited
Here is a great gift for a graduate or fellow movie buff

I’ve been wanting to see ‘Jurassic World’ ever since I heard that they were making it. I’ve been so busy that I didn’t get to see it opening weekend but will fit it in this weekend. Like you, ‘Me, Earl, and The Dying Girl’ didn’t get me by the title, but from the trailer it seems like a very interesting movie. Thanks for sharing!
