Unexpected things happen everyday and there is nothing any of us can do about it.
Being able to to respond to unexpected events quickly and appropriately means we have to have access to GOOD information.
There are times when you want to know what is happening right now and then there are other times when you NEED to know what is happening right now. When there was a train crash in an area where I frequent, I needed information and I needed it NOW. CNN was the only station that was carrying up to date and consistent coverage but I wasn’t home so I had to start thinking about other options. It was then that I remembered that CNN was one of the channels that I had access to on the Fios Mobile app. With the click of a button, even though I was out and about I was able to follow the news on this event as it was happening, without missing a beat.
Catching Live TV On The Go Can Be A Lifesaver
Whether it is catching your favorite television show, watching the latest news on a breaking story, or having access to entertainment to keep the peace is priceless.
Options and Information
Whether you are the CEO of your company, the manager of your home or something in between you always have to think about your time and what is important to you and your family.
As women, there is always a balance to strike, so flexibility is essential.
I found myself looking for options this week and I was glad to find a solution that I could use.
On Sunday, when my husband and I took and unexpected trip, he was a little apprehensive to go on this outing because he didn’t want to miss “his games”. With a little convincing, I got him to say yes. In my mind, I just knew we would be back before his games started. Unfortunately I was wrong, our excursion went a little longer than I hoped and I felt bad until I realized I had an ace in the hole, my tablet. The Watch Now feature in the Fios app helped me keep my promise. I took the wheel, he took the table, crisis adverted. He watch the game live while I drove home. It may seem like a small thing, but it was quite a selling point when I wanted to go out on NFL Sunday.
If that wasn’t enough, something else happened that reminded me how valuable that feature was to me and my family.
On Thursday, I saw the Hoboken train accident trending. With family in that neck of the woods, I wanted to find out everything I could. The best place for that kind of coverage is CNN.
When I realized that CNN was available through the Fios App I turned it on and it gave me access to the kind of news I was looking for without jumping through a bunch of hoops. One touch of my tablet and I was informed. I was able to keep track of everything that was going on without waiting for the afternoon news. With up to date information I was able to reach out to people in the area, check in with friends and family. It gave me peace of mind and all the information I needed with the tour of a button.
As a busy wife and mother, being able to watch the shows I love and want to see live on the go is priceless. It has given me options everywhere from the doctors office to the car. Having this tool in my toolbox, is priceless and that feature has made my life easier at the most unexpected times.
