The temperatures are dropping, which means more time inside with family and friends.  It also means you have to find  creative ways to entertain yourself and your family.

With busy lives and an overwhelming amount of choices finding new shows and good movies can be difficult.

So, how do you find something good to watch?

 

As a Fios customer, I have enjoyed exploring the recommendations and the Fios Mobile App to find shows and movies I might of ignored.  The selections come up after you watch a show or movie, and they tend to be similar to the show or movie  you have just watched.  If you enjoyed a show or a movie, taking at look at these recommendations is a really good idea.

I found this movie with the app, it’s a movie I had never heard of before.  I taped it and a number of other movies like it not knowing if I would like it or not.  I checked “Will To Love”  when nothing else I wanted to see was on, and I LOVED it.

Since I enjoyed the first movie, I decided to check out another one, Runaway Island.  This was another winner.  The story line was good, the cast was amazing and once again another movie I knew nothing about.

Since I enjoyed the other two movies I decided to keep going.  I check out White Water.  This was another great movie I found using Fios suggestions.  Once again, I hadn’t heard of it  and would of missed it, without my original random search through the Fios app.

If you are thinking that this kind of search only works for movies you would be wrong.  I found several new shows the same way.  Truth Be Told, is a 1/2 hour comedy show that comes on NBC on Friday it’s one of the shows that I enjoy every week.  I would of never found this show if I didn’t check out the recommendations listed under another show I taped.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have really enjoyed stumbling on these new shows.  With all of the choices that are available, the Fios suggestions have lead me to a ton of great movies and shows I never would of found.

Bottom line:  If you are looking for great movies to check out or you are looking for some new shows use the Fios app and the check out the suggestions under shows you are already watching.
