Foodie Beware… This post maybe dangerous to your wallet…

A few weeks ago, we had a chance to test out the food at #Smashburger. I had never been there before. My taste tester and daughter Sierra went once with her father, but I think all I got was a cold fry. So of course, we were up for the challenge.

Now I believe when you go out and spend your hard earned money on a meal, there are a couple of things you should be able to expect. You want it to be good, you want the service to be great, and you want to well….enjoy yourself, at least for starters..

Another thing that is always nice is good, quick service, great quality and variety is a nice plus.

Well,Smashburgers delivered all of the above with flying colors… So let me share our experience with you, and BONUS: we are even going to treat someone from the PA, NJ area to two FREE entrees of your choice at #Smashburgers.

Well since it was my first time at a Smashburgers I had no idea what to expect, but here is what I found.

Smashburgers has a wonderful salad for all of us who well love a great salad, and who love to take care of our waistlines, so if that is you this is going to music to your ears. You can order your salad with or without meat.

For those of us who like to watch the waistline, or for people who just don’t eat beef, there are a number of chicken sandwiches, and other options. This is a real chicken breast sandwich. They smash it to make it flat, they have tons of sides, and it was not only moist, and well seasoned, it was delicious, and filling.

If you like options, Smashburger has you covered. They have a number of sides that you can choose from to make your selection even more mouth watering. I loved the variety and I think you will too! Everything from avocado, to eggs…

These are the Smashburger fries. They were light and they had amazing seasonings on them that made them unforgettable.

Next in our testing list were these sweet potato fries. These were a table favorite along with the vegetable fries that aren’t shown here. They were the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Now, I am a big sweet potato fan so I was right at home, but everyone at our table enjoyed them as much as I did… MMMMM

Smashburger showed us how they cooked the burgers and the chicken, as they took us back to the kitchen. They cook everything to order, so when you order your meal everything is fresh. The burgers and chicken at Smashburger are smashed to make them flat and to give them the optimal flavor. They check the temperature of each one to make sure they are cooked to specifications, and so that everything that comes off the grill is safe and cooked to the customers request. This process also makes sure that each piece is also juicy and delicious.

As you can see from the other posts, Smashburger has a ton of healthy options. From the chicken, salad, and even a tasty black bean burger, they offer options for even your most selective guests, big or small.

Here is another picture of the wonderful salad we had a chance to taste. Not only do you have a tasty piece of well seasoned chicken smashed to amazing perfection. There are also nuts, and the tomatoes marinated in balsamic vinegar were hard to forget.

Now since we all know, not all burger are created equal, the one thing we loved here was the selection. They have a number of signature burgers at Smashburgers. There was a burger with truffle oil, which was divine. The New Jersey burger that you can only get in New Jersey, and a number of others for you to choose.

If you like onion rings and big flavor this might be your favorite. I mean who can forget a juicy burger with haystack onions…this was a meal all by itself. The onion rings were amazing and they really just added so much flavor to the burger.

All of the burgers we tasted were phenomenal, and it was crazy how much different each one tasted with just a few changes to the toppings, and the sides.

If you want to go for the basic burger the regular Smashburger, was just as good as the signatures, and it was a safe bet for anyone who loves a great burger, but who didn’t want to try anything new.

Smashburger offers some great variety, whether you are looking for a great family place, or you just want to go out for a quick bite to eat.

So what makes Smashburger different. Well first of all it is the smashing, there burgers are consistent. Most importantly so is their commitment to quality. We had a chance to talk to Rob from the corporate headquarters who shared some of the companies thoughts on the customer experience. Smashburger has survey’s they want their customers to fill out. They want you to know that when you visit a Smashburger, they want the experience to be pleasant and consistent.

Smashing the burgers is only the beginning of their commitment to having a great customer experience. If your experience isn’t what you expect, please let them know so they can fix it. They understand that going out is a treat, and they want you to enjoy the experience. The survey process is directly tied to that stores performance, and the stores take that very seriously. So when stores do well, they are celebrated. But, when things don’t go according to plan, or the food isn’t consistent they give the stores the information and training they need to improve. I loved this, because it let me know they really got it and they care.

At Smashburger, the price point was also another plus. The food was affordable and delicious. So, it makes it easier to go out and eat more often.

Last but not least, the shakes… Now, I will tell you I am not a milkshake fan, but my daughter is, but I tried the shakes just so I could have a feel for what they were like. To my surprise, not only were they a great size, made with fresh ingredients, I even liked them….

So if you are looking for a great place to eat, you may want to check out the Smashburger in your area, I think you will find that it really is worth the trip.
