From the beginning the subject matter definitely grabbed my attention.
Can the Holy Spirit make a movie?
That was the question that was being asked, and the one that was being answered.
That question by itself definitely intrigued me. So, I wanted to find out.
This kind of documentary started off with some faces and names that I knew and some that I didn’t. And, honestly, I didn’t know what to expect.
There have been plenty of times that I’ve been led to do something with incredibly amazing results.
The woman in the hotel that I just felt led to give a word of encouragement. Only to have her say I was just praying about that.
I know God works in amazing ways, always has, always will.
The movie opens with Brian Welch from Korn, and Lenny Kravitz sharing their thoughts on the Holy Spirit. Then shortly after, you get a front row seat to people following the leading and guiding of the Holy Sprit with wonderfully surprising results.
I enJoyed the movie. In the beginning, I didn’t know what to expect, all I knew is that I wanted to see it. It left me with a lot of questions though, and maybe not the questions you would expect.
When I finished watching the movie I wondered how many opportunities on a daily basis I missed. Were there times when God wanted to use me when I was “unavailable” or “unresponsive” or just plain old scared or stubborn?
Things that make you go hmmmm, or at least leave you with plenty of things to think about.
Most of all, the movie gave me a small picture of what was possible. It made me STOP, go back and think about how to be better. Even more yielded to the Holy Spirit, and ready to do more of His work!
