It may not be Comic Con, but anime and Dragonball Z lovers everywhere are incredibly excited for the awesome release coming to theatres in a few days.
What is this amazing phenomenom?
Why, none other than Dragonball Z: Resurrection “F”!
Most kids might remember staying up late and getting a chance to watch several anime series on Cartoon Network. One series in particular is the transcendent Dragonball, which has warped into Dragonball Z.
Dragonball Z (often abbreviated to DBZ) is a well known and appreciated anime classic that many people, young and old alike enjoy. Boasting two series of over three hundred episodes of the anime and 19 films (including Dragonball Z: Resurrection “F”), the Dragonball franchise continues to grow and attract fans to this day. So even if you were not a huge fan, chances are you’ve probably heard of it or at least one of the characters in it.
The producers of Dragonball Z have banded together to create the new addition to their long list of DBZ productions: Resurrection “F”.
For those who follow the series, the name of the antagonist Frieza may ring a bell. But for those who do not, Frieza is essentially an evil emporer of space who destroyed the homeland of the saiyan race, which is the race that the protagonist, Goku, belongs to.
In the movie, Frieza has been murdered by a super saiyan in a previous encounter and has been resurrected by one of the commanders in his Freiza force. Upon being resurrected, Freiza swears his revenge on Goku, who was the saiyan that destroyed him. This leads to a battle of all battles, which all DBZ fans will indeed enjoy.
For those who may be impartial to DBZ or may not be all that fimiliar with it, the movie is still a very entertaining. From the incredible animation to the character development, to the sheer enjoyable storyline, anime and cartoon lover alike will enojy this film. The dub is also incredible, as the voice acting fits the characters incredibly well.
If you’re a DBZ fan or just a fan of animated movies in general, this movie is a great time to spend with friends or family. The Dragonball Z Franchise carries on the legacy of amazing animation and captivating movies and animes that everyone can enjoy.
