Today is Friday, which means there’s a whole new batch of great movies coming to theaters near you.

We are slowly rolling into the holiday season which mean that the movie season is heating up FAST.

I don’t know about you, but there are a number of great flicks coming to the movies that I can’t wait to see.

This week we have some brand-new entries into the movie marketplace, which have gotten a lot of buzz.

For instance, Gone Girl is being released in theaters today.

This movie is based on the book. (By the way… the author said the story will be told a different way.. so if you have read the book expect some deviations)
Nick and Amy Dunne’s 5th year wedding anniversary and she disappears, and guess who is the suspect. Ben Affleck plays the husband, Nick they suspect has  killed his wife. This book is best seller and this movie is getting a lot of buzz. Although I’m not normally a scary movie person or a person who enjoys this kind of the thriller even this one got my attention.
The other movie that is due out in select theaters today is The Good Lie

This movie definitely looks like a must see. It is based on a true story and it’s about a family that come from the Sudan during the terrible killings. Reese Witherspoon plays a woman who takes the men into her home. But, there is a problem the only living sister is still in Africa so not only do they have to get acclimated to this new life in America they are fighting to bring their sister to America so the family can be reunited. This movie is not going to be released in my area this week, but this definitely seems like a must see.

Also in the movies this week is Annabell. This is a horror movie that is based on the doll. I don’t do horror, but I’m sure someone has a lot to say about it.

Still in the movies this week is The Equalizer with Denzel Washington. I reviewed that last week, you can see the review here .  That was definitely a must see.

Next week, there are two movies that you should look out for #Addicted

I will be posting my interview with one of the screenwriters Christina Welsh tomorrow. This is a movie about a topic we don’t talk about often enough..sexual addiction. Come and see how this characters life and her families life are turned upside down by this addiction that she doesn’t seem to be able to get a handle on. A movie about a family, and the day that everything went terribly wrong.

Annie is also due out around Christmas, that features Jamie Fox.
The Book of Life is due out next week and has a star studded cast.  That is a kids flick.
