It Might Be Time For You To “Draw The Circle”

I was in the bookstore just browsing the floor when this book caught my eye….hmmm Draw the Circle. So I walked off with it and hit the table so I could at least my curiosity.

The first page I opened to sold me….

Day 20 – Go.Set.Ready
He (Abraham) Did not know where he was going – Heb 11:8

This was the page that was staring me in the face when I opened the book. It didn’t just speak to me, it challenged me. We all have times when we don’t know where we are going. We all have times when we have looked at where we are and thought, wow I don’t know where I am going, and I don’t even know how I got here. During those times you may want to stop, but those are precisely the times that you shouldn’t. When I read this headline…it was a reminder to me that no matter what, unanswered questions, fear, all of the above, or none of the above. These are just not good excuses or reasons for not going forward. The biggest treasures in our lives come from deciding not to stop! On that day, I didn’t know precisely where I was going, I knew what I wanted but there were tons of unanswered questions and fears connected to what seemed like every action. During that day, and everyday we have to decide what faith looks like, and then we have to be willing to do whatever it takes to take the power from our faith. Not knowing how I was going to get there didn’t matter as much as deciding not to give into the temptation of fear so I could follow my faith in God to go forward.

From the book…..
Do you pray as often and as boldly as you want to? There is a way to experience a deeper, more passionate, persistent, and intimate prayer life.
Drawing from forty days of true stories, Mark Batterson applies the principles of his New York Times bestselling book The Circle Maker to teach us a new way to pray. As thousands of readers quickly became many tens of thousands, true stories of miraculous and inspiring answers to prayer began to pour in, and as those stories were shared, others were bolstered in their faith to pray with even more boldness.
In Draw the Circle, through forty true, faith-building stories of God’s answers to prayer, daily scriptures and prayer prompts, Batterson inspires you to pray and keep praying like never before. Begin a lifetime of watching God work. Believe in the God who can do all things. Experience the power of bold prayer and even bolder faith in Draw the Circle.
